By 4th grade, most students are picking up more scheduled lessons each week, but still have lots of flexibility built in daily. Most students by 6th grade have most of their academics covered in scheduled lessons, but still have blocks of time to manage on their own with more or less guidance as necessary.
Middle School Hands-on Science & Project Adventure: Every class from 1st grade through high school has an incredible weekly, hands-on science lab. During the nice fall and spring weather, each of these classes has a unique project adventure (ropes, rock board, and zip line) session. Please see our “Science” and “Project Adventure” slide shows!
