By junior high and high school, most of our students have schedules for every academic subject that, at first glance, seem to mirror those of their peers in traditional schools. There are notable differences however. Our student:teacher ratios rarely exceed 6:1 for core academic subjects. Plus our environment typically whets and enhances the God-given thirst to explore the incredible mysteries of the universe, and academics are the tools necessary to quench that sacred desire. This usually produces a wonderful work ethic, and the combination allows us to delve deeper into more concepts in less time. Our goal is spiritual and academic excellence with time left over each day for exploring individual passions (art, music, history, science, sewing, etc.).
Junior High Hands-on Science & Project Adventure: Every class from 1st grade through high school has an incredible weekly, hands-on science lab. During the nice fall and spring weather, each of these classes has a unique project adventure (ropes, rock board, and zip line) session. Please see our “Science” and “Project Adventure” slide shows.
